The Becerra AguaClara plant is now enclosed with walls and a roof. The tanks for the various treatment processes are nearing completion with the waterproofing layer already in place. While progress continues on the civil work, the plant operator candidates are receiving hands-on training so they can begin operating the plant when the water begins to flow in a few weeks.

Plant operator candidates are learning about coagulant dosing, flocculation, and clarification with a jar test apparatus and some of the water they will soon be treating with the AguaClara plant.

Here students in the operator training course drill the holes for the linear flow orifice meter. The hole pattern for the Becerra plant was calculated using the AguaClara Infrastructure Design Engine in Onshape.
